Katie Rice Jones (a.k.a. Kate Rice) has been an on-air personality for over 6 years for leading news programs and entertainment shows. From reporting on fashion trends to interviewing movie icons, Katie’s comfort and ease in front of the camera is evident. However, the interviewing has not been one-way; Katie’s story has also been featured in San Francisco Magazine’s “San Francisco Style,” 7X7 Magazine’s “Hot 20 under 40,” 7X7 Magazine’s “The Entourage,” Grace Ormonde’s “Wedding Style”, San Francisco Chronicle’s “Designer Obsessions” pieces and Beautiful Weddings book.
As a co-host and segment producer of Comcast’s Inside City Limits, Katie hits the streets of San Francisco to discover its unique sites, events and people that make her town so special. Katie is also the web show host for TenToeTV.com’s The Best of San Francisco.

Katie is also a on-air stylist who appears on such shows as: E’s 30 Outrageous Crimes of Fashion, Style Network’s Split Ends, Travel Channel’s Beach Goers Exposed, TV Guide Channel’s TV Candy with Melissa Rivers, USA Network’s Before & After ‘NOON Movie, Soap Net’s Soap Talk, Lifetime’s Head 2 Toe, Oxygen’s She Commerce, HGTV’s Smart Solutions and TIPical Maryellen, Los Angeles’ Good Day LA to name a few. To date, Katie has appeared on over 400 television style segments offering audiences style solutions and trend commentary for the home and for the individual delivered with her mid-western charm. Because it is hard to keep Katie quiet when it comes to fashion, she is also a professional speaker who has spoke for clients such as Young President Organization, Fashion Group International, San Francisco Fashion Week, Westfield Shopping Centers, The Learning Annex, Mervyn’s, Parasuco Jeans, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, DKNY, Sunset Magazine, Minneapolis Women’s Expo and Sacramento Bee’s Women’s Expo. |

Katie’s style philosophy has been quoted in leading newspapers and magazines such as: New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, Women’s Wear Daily, London Observer, Variety, People en Espanol, Men’s Health, Real Simple, Quick and Simple, Women’s Day and over the Associated Press wire.
Putting her own journalism major to work, Katie is the Style and Shopping Editor for Your Life Magazine and a contributor to Fashion, Style and Care while she commentates bi-monthly for In Touch Weekly magazine’s “If These Clothes Could Talk” celebrity piece.
From 2001 to 2005, Katie represented Mervyn’s, a then Target Corporation company, as their first national Style Media Spokesperson. Katie’s role included on-air fashion show commentary appearances and segment producing, newspaper and magazine trend interviews, radio interviews, radio commercials, public service announcements, a style advice column titled “Ask Kate” and an in-store mix and match style clothing program dubbed “Kate’s Picks.”
As for her plans going forward, Katie is writing her first book titled The Style Method.
